In this book there are 4 good friends. Candace, the queen bee, loves meeting new girls and inviting them into her group. So when she meets Maya who just moved from a dangerous area, she is suddenly interested in her. All five of them become the best of friends...but with every friendship there has to be some teenage drama. I liked how the author described the feeling of the different girls. The way this story is written it's as if each girl is putting in her own diary entry. This book was a very good fast read that I would recommend to middle school girls.
