This story is about a cloned kid named Matt. He is a "captive" of this drug lord, and he struggles to gain respect in this futuristic setting.

It is about a boy who finds smallpox scabs from an epidemic. He inhales scabs that may contain a deadly virus. Now it is a matter of life and death while trying not to spread the disease and avoid bioterrorists. I liked it because it is exciting and fast moving with lots of cliff hangers.

Uglies

Tally is looking forward to her operation. She lives in a world where everyone is ugly until their sixteeth birthday, when they are turned pretty. But Tally can't turn pretty until she finds her friend who has run away and brings her back. I loved this book because it is full of adventure and is very interesting, because it is set in the future. The author is a really good writer and the characters are very realistic.

Among the Hidden is about a boy who has to hide because he is a 3rd child. But then he meets a girl who is also a third child. I liked this book because it was very exciting and you couldn't put it down.

Rendezvous With Rama

What is thought to be a giant asteroid is found in the solar system. It is found that this object is actually a giant interstellar spacecraft! A team of astronauts is sent to investigate the ship, now called Rama. What what will they find, why is Rama here, and is it dangerous? I like this book because the ship is interesting. It has many large structures, biological robots, and it is headed straight for the sun! Rama is a great book for anyone who likes science fiction.
