Uglies

Tally is looking forward to her operation. She lives in a world where everyone is ugly until their sixteeth birthday, when they are turned pretty. But Tally can't turn pretty until she finds her friend who has run away and brings her back. I loved this book because it is full of adventure and is very interesting, because it is set in the future. The author is a really good writer and the characters are very realistic.
