Koby is a girl who lives on a sailboat in Florida. She loves to be out on the ocean in her dinghy. While out on the ocean, she meets whales. She helps them, and they become friends. But a couple days later, she finds them stranded on a sandbar. She decides to stay with them, but she is very scared. Will the whales make it? I liked Koby- she is similar to me, in that she is stubborn and she likes animals. I also like Mikaelsen's style of writing.
